CAPT JACOB ERTLE
Captain Jacob Ertle of Shrimp Slingers Fishing Charters offers customized inshore and offshore fishing trips out of Stuart, Florida. The name “Shrimp Slingers” comes from his childhood fishing the flats of Volusia County, throwing shrimp lures for trout, redfish, and snook around mangroves and shallow waters.
With years of experience targeting everything from dock light snook and tarpon to offshore mahi, snapper, sailfish, and tuna, Captain Jacob has developed a versatile fishing style built around productive live bait techniques and creating an enjoyable experience for anglers of all skill levels. Whether you’re looking for a hardcore fishing trip or a fun day on the water with family and friends, Captain Jacob is dedicated to putting you on the fish.

The 23’ C-Hawk is the perfect blend of inshore maneuverability and offshore capability, allowing Captain Jacob to comfortably fish everything from shallow mangroves and dock lights to offshore reefs and weed lines. Its wide, open layout provides plenty of room for up to six passengers to fish comfortably, while the Carolina-style bow delivers a smooth, dry ride.
Equipped with Garmin electronics, Minn Kota Spot-Lock trolling motor, livewells, safety equipment, and a reliable Suzuki 175HP four-stroke, the boat is fully rigged for a safe, comfortable, and productive day on the water.
